Honest & Affordable Auto ("we," "us," or "our") provides mobile auto repair and junk removal across Brevard County, Florida. This policy explains what we collect through honestauto.net (the "Site"), why, and what we do with it.
This policy covers people who visit the Site, book a service, request a quote, use our chat assistant, sign a service agreement online, or call or text the number listed on the Site.
We want this section to be exact, because most privacy policies are not. Here is every third-party tag that runs on honestauto.net today:
That is the complete list. No analytics suite, no tag manager, no social pixel, no advertising network other than Google Ads.
Separately, our own first-party counter (track.js) sends page views and phone-tap counts to a server we control, so the owner can see which pages are working. It uses your browser's session and local storage rather than tracking cookies, and it is not shared with an ad network.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can change what Google shows you and how it uses ad data at Google My Ad Center.
When you give us your phone number, you agree that Honest & Affordable Auto may contact you at that number — including by automated dialing technology, prerecorded or artificial (AI) voice, and SMS text — about your request and about our services and promotions. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help.
Calls to the number listed on the Site may be answered first by an automated assistant that takes your details and passes them to the team. Those calls are recorded, transcribed and summarized so we do not lose your job details.
Your mobile number, your opt-in, and any text-message consent data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We share your information only with the service providers who help us run the business — website hosting, the software that stores bookings and chats, email delivery, text messaging, and telephone service — and only so they can perform that work for us. We also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
We keep booking records, signed agreements, chat transcripts and call records for as long as we reasonably need them for our business records, warranty questions and legal obligations. Visit counts are kept in aggregate.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and you can ask us to stop contacting you, by phone or email using the details below. Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts. If you ask us to delete your information, we may keep what we need for records of work performed and for legal reasons.
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, so our Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Our Site and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections to our Site and access controls on the systems that hold bookings and agreements. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
